HealthPoint Fitness is Celebrating their anniversary with Zero Enrollment Fees!
A HealthPoint Fitness Membership is always a good investment, but during our Anniversary month, it’s even better. In September, join HealthPoint Fitness in Cape or Jackson and pay zero enrollment fees. And, to get you off to a good start, receive 2 free sessions with a personal trainer and a 30 minute consultation with our dietitian. We have all the resources you need for a lifetime of fitness…facilities, staff and programs to put you on the path to better fitness and health.
A Special Anniversary Open House is planned for both facilities on Saturday, September 18. There will be displays, demonstrations and prize drawings. Join us in Cape or Jackson from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Pilates Mat Classes
HealthPoint will offer Pilates Mat Classes beginning Thursday, Sept 2.
Classes will be held on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. and Mondays at 9:30 a.m. in the small group exercise room at HealthPoint Fitness-Cape. Class will be taught by Sara Wagganer, MS, ACSM, HFS, a certified Pilates instructor.
What is Pilates and what are the Benefits?
Pilates movement focuses on the powerhouse muscles—the abdominals, low back, hips, thighs and buttocks. With proper instruction, Pilates produces a stronger, sleeker body without adding bulk. It can also enhance balance and coordination, decrease stress and tension and help develop better posture.
Moving For Life
A support group for those who have had joint replacement surgery. as well as for those who are considering joint replacement.

Making easy and delicious healthy meals can be fun. Raina Childers, MS, RD, LD, the Nutrition Services Coordinator at HealthPoint Fitness, has put together a collection of tasty recipes that will improve the nutritional quality of your meals. We will be sharing new recipes each week and archiving them on the HealthPoint website for your future reference. This week’s selection.
P.H.I.T. Program
A medically supervised, pediatric health and weight management program for children ages 13-17. The program’s goal is to improve the quality of life of adolescents who struggle with health issues caused by obesity.
