BLT/ABSLab – Sandwich those hard-to-work areas (buns, legs, thighs) together into this 45-minute class that ends with a blast of ABS!

HealthPoint Cycling – An exciting and fun group exercise experience ANYONE can enjoy. Guided by an instructor on LeMond Revmaster stationary bikes, riders visualize riding up hills and across plains accompanied by motivating music. Regular attendance improves cardiorespiratory endurance, body composition, aerobic capacity and anaerobic strength. Only cycle shoes with recessed clips may be worn in HPF. No pedal change is allowed.

20-20-20 – Three great classes rolled into one: 20 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of strength training, 20 minutes of abs/stretch.
HealthPoint Pilates Sessions – Pilates uses a combination of yoga and strength to tone, tighten and strengthen muscles. It is a gentle exercise which can yield visible results.
Interval Step Circuit – Intervals of step aerobics combined with weight and resistance training give you an all-over great workout! (All fitness levels)

Yoga - All yoga classes, with the exception of Yoga Plus, are taught by instructors trained in YogaFit®, a non-purist form of yoga specifically designed for the fitness industry. Classes combine the ancient Hatha Yoga practice with modern fitness movements and safety guidelines.
Power Vinyasa A challenging form of yoga taught in a 79-85 degree room characterized by a series of athletic, flowing asanas. Knowledge of asana names, proper alignment and breath work is necessary, thus prior yoga experience is a must. For those looking to deepen their more rigorous practice, power vinyasa along with a balanced, more grounded restorative class will surely transform your plateaued practice. Note: Not recommended for women that are pregnant or those with high blood pressure.
Restorative Yoga A gentle, yet necessary class to balance out your body, mind and workout. Restorative style yoga is beneficial for the immune, nervous and digestive systems. It brings balance by releasing toxins and stressors from the body. This class will use deep stretches held for extended amounts of time, gentle twists and supported backbends, allowing the body to move to its next level. The class is open to everyone, but please inform your instructor of pregnancy, injuries, or physical limitations. |
Moms in Motion is a fun and friendly class for moms and their newborns up to 4 months old. This class involves exercise and education related to pelvic floor strengthening, core stabilization, stretching, abdominal re-education, postural training and body mechanics related to the care of your baby.

This class also transitions moms from HealthPoint Rehab’s Post-Partum Program. Two free passes for Moms in Motion are given when participating in Post-Partum Physical Therapy Program.
Must have physician’s release before participating.
Classes for intermediate/advanced fitness levels
Boot Camp – Be prepared! A HIGH-ENERGY CLASS FOR THE VETERAN EXERCISER!!!
Cycling in the Zone – This class focuses on tempo training, threshold training, power training and advanced climbing. Heart rate monitoring is extremely important in this class. BE ON TIME—DON’T MISS THE WARM-UP.
Power Mat Pilates – This fast-paced workout strengthens core muscles as it builds on the basic and intermediate Pilates repertoire of exercises.
P3 (Peak Performance Project) – Our version of BOOT CAMP becomes explosive and dynamic in this HIGH-ENERGY CLASS FOR THE VETERAN EXERCISER!!! Be prepared to challenge your body to the next level.
Psycho Cycling Fridays! – This indoor cycling class is held every Friday from 7:45 to 9:15 a.m. at HealthPoint Fitness in Cape. This is an extended version of our traditional cycling class. This is a hour-and-a-half ride with an instructor change in the middle – feel free to come and stay or come and go! Call 986-4400 for more details! Free to members; $10 for non-members.
Classes for beginning exercisers, those requiring special assistance or anyone over 55 years of age
Stretch – This “feel good” class focuses on increasing flexibility and enhances relaxation. (30 min.)
Easy Does it Yoga – A class emphasizing simple yoga poses designed specifically for members 55 or over or others with special needs. (30 min.)
Low Impact Aerobics – A low-impact class led by a physical therapist to help improve heart/lung condition while minimizing the impact to joints.
Moms in Motion – For moms and their newborns up to 4 months old.
Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga – Offered Sept. 10-October 15 OR October 29-December 3. Cost: $35/member; $55 nonmember.
Stretch and Tone – This class is led by a physical therapist and is suitable for all fitness levels, particularly those who are uncomfortable exercising on the floor or are unable to participate in a regular exercise class. Focus is on improving strength, flexibility and range of motion through the use of different forms of resistance. (30 min.)
