United Martial Arts Associates Inc. (UMAA) provides a full range of martial arts instruction for children and adults. It is the goal of our organization to introduce the people of Cape Girardeau and the surrounding area to the many benefits of practicing the martial arts in a safe and friendly atmosphere. UMAA was founded in 1978 and incorporated in 1990. Stass Huff, the original founder and current president of the corporation UMAA, is a current member of the Martial Arts Teachers Association (MATA). In 1996 UMAA was recognized for its outstanding teaching and coaching by the United States All-Style Karate Instructors Association.

Training in the Martial Arts is an ancient activity that promotes physical health and mental well-being as well as teaches practical self-defense and lessons for life. We offer classes in the Korean-based art of Tae Kwon Do. We also offer classes in several effective self-defense systems. Stass Huff is the Martial Arts Master Instructor.
