HealthPoint Fitness in Cape Girardeau and Jackson and Southeast Missouri Hospital's Wellness Programs are involved in several walks and runs each year. There is so much information out there to help us run faster and better. Check out these great sites:
Pace bands: type in your anticipated time for your next race, and this program will create a wrist band for you to keep yourself on track!
Race Time Predictor: Enter your time from previous events, and the predictor will calculate future events for other distances.

Mother's Day 5K Run/Walk

145 participants joined us for a fun and fit celebration to honor all mothers! The whole family was participating in the 5K run, 5K walk or fun run, while helping raise funds for children’s health & wellness and cancer programs at Southeast Missouri Hospital. Thank you to the 145 participants this year! What a beautiful day it was!

5K Fun Run – Run or walk in the crisp winter air as you declare your commitment to better health in the New Year! The event will start at noon. It is free without a shirt, $15 with a long-sleeve t-shirt. Come one and all!
Register On-Line! Register for the Resolution Run at www.active.com. Or mail the registration form to HealthPoint Plaza, 2126 Independence, Cape Girardeau, MO, 63703. Registration can also be dropped off Monday-Friday between 5 a.m. and 9 p.m. at HealthPoint Plaza.
Paid registration includes a long sleeve t-shirt and giveaway bag. Pre-registration packets can be picked up on New Year's Eve day or after 11 a.m. on race day at HealthPoint Plaza in Cape. Each participant will receive a voucher for an Arby's sandwich!

from HealthPoint Plaza in Cape to HealthPoint Plaza in Jackson
Three divisions:
Individual - run 9.5 miles
Team - Each of 3 team members runs complete 9.5 miles and times are added together Relay - Three member team splits the 9.5 miles, connecting at two relay stations.
This fun event runs straight down Kingshighway from Independence, into Jackson to Old Cape Road, then weaves to Main Street, straight to HealthPoint in Jackson.
