Meet Paula Stout, PT, CLT

Paula Stout, PT, CLT graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1998 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physical Therapy degree. She has been a member of the Healthpoint Rehab team since that time. In 1999 she attended the Academy of Lymphatic Studies training and received certification in Manual Lymph Drainage/Complete Decongestive Physiotherapy and became certified by national exam through the Lymphology Association of North America (LANA) in 2000. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and is a former Missouri Physical Therapy Association district president. Paula is also a member of the National Lymphedema Network and the International Society of Lymphology. To complement her expertise in the treatment of lymphedema, she is active in the Turning Point program for breast cancer survivors and teaches a specialty exercise class for women who have been affected by breast cancer. In addition to treating lymphedema, Paula is one of two therapists providing Myofasical Release treatments for patients with acute or chronic pain, headaches, or mobility restrictions. |
