Myofascial Release

 

Myofascial release is the three-dimensional application of sustained pressure and movement into the fascial system in order to eliminate fascial restrictions. 

 

Restrictions as a result of trauma, poor posture, or inflammation and can create pain and malfunction of the fascial system.  Myofascial release techniques are effective in relieving pain and restoring motion and are designed to be combined with other appropriate modalities, massage, mobilization and neuromuscular facilitation technique, exercise, and flexibility programs. 

Paula Stout, PT, CLT,Katrina Voelker, PT, Ashley Dirnbirger, MPT and Theresa Crowell MPT are specially trained in Myofasical Release Techniques and will work with the other therapists to provide a comprehensive treatment approach to many orthopedic and neurological conditions.
